Shifting My Gaze

As I self quarantine over the next few weeks I will be taking to my blog to share some of my thoughts and feelings on what's going on in my world. It will be very informal. However, it's crucial that we all stay connected and open to our hearts during this weird season. With that being said, here's an excerpt from my journal this morning: As I'm sitting here praying about my needs being met (specifically resources for my job as a nurse) and reminding my soul I live from a place of abundance; I look up and there's a squirrel outside of my window scurrying along a branch. He suddenly stops and starts eating away at some large glob of something in his hands. In that moment, I felt Holy Spirit say, "He's not worried".
